Rebrand Signifies Commitment to Helping Field Businesses Solve Problems On-The-Go

Aceworks, a start-up in the Fintech and card payments solution area, announced today that they had rebranded to Hoof.

The founder of Hoof, George Johnson, explained the rebrand was to reflect the new focus of the business based on extensive feedback from customers.

“A while back we had the idea to create a peer-to-peer app for the cleaning industry, and Aceworks was born,” he said. “Like all good businesses, we talked to customers and they told us what they really needed – an easy way to get paid and manage sales opportunities on-the-go. This gave us a new direction and a crystal-clear mission… to Unleash the Potential of Every Business.”

He added that the business always wanted to set it apart from competitors in the payments space by focusing on mobile businesses and features that would help those businesses take payments on the move, anywhere, on-the-hoof – With that Hoof was born.

In addition to mobile payments Hoof’s focus is to help field service businesses win more sales with better invoicing and quotations integration. Their solution provides a notification if the quote was accepted or not, giving the sender the opportunity to amend or easily convert it into an invoice. The idea was to allow the sender to respond in a much faster timeframe, improving their chance of winning that item of business.

Hoof is presently in beta with a projected launch date of mid-March, online and through their Android app.
